Washingtonia Palms are sun-loving and highly suited to the UAE climate. It is completely normal for older lower fronds to turn brown and dry as the palm grows — simply prune fully dried fronds when needed, while keeping healthy green fronds intact.

White Aglaonema

View Care Guide

Light

Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its white variegation. Can tolerate medium light, but avoid harsh direct sunlight.

Watering

Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil feels dry. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.

Humidity

Enjoys moderate to high humidity but adapts well to normal indoor conditions. Keep away from strong AC airflow.

Temperature

Best between 18–30°C. Protect from cold drafts, direct AC and sudden temperature changes.

Repotting

Repot every 1–2 years or when root-bound. Use a well-draining indoor potting mix and a pot with drainage holes.

Common Issues & Fixes

Yellow leaves: Often caused by overwatering or poor drainage.
Brown/crispy edges: Usually low humidity, prolonged dryness or inconsistent watering.
Loss of variegation: Move to brighter indirect light.
Scorched patches: Usually caused by excessive direct sunlight.
Pests: Our plants are always pest checked before delivery. Still, occasionally inspect the leaves and stems as part of routine plant care.

Silver Gardens Tip

White Aglaonemas need good indirect light to maintain their beautiful variegation. They tolerate lower light, but varieties with more white in their leaves generally perform better in brighter indirect light.

Soft/mushy stems: Possible root or rhizome rot, reduce watering and check drainage.
Brown/crispy tips: Can indicate prolonged dryness or very dry conditions.
Slow growth: Normal in lower light; brighter indirect light can encourage growth.
